RENOFAST Single-Wall Inspection Flue Pipe with Hatch, 250 mm
Product Description
The RENOFAST flue pipe with an inspection hatch is a key service component of the chimney, providing access to the internal channel. It consists of a 250 mm straight pipe section equipped with a sealed door.
Installing this element is essential for regular inspection of the chimney condition and mechanical cleaning of soot and condensate without dismantling the entire structure. It is typically installed at the base of the vertical stack or immediately before horizontal sections.
Application Features and Benefits
- Maintenance Convenience: The hatch size is optimized for the pipe diameter, allowing easy use of a chimney brush or vacuum cleaner to remove combustion residues. This is critical for maintaining good draught and preventing soot fires.
- Airtightness: The door fits tightly against the body, preventing air leakage (which reduces draught) or smoke ingress into the room.
- Fuel Type: Optimized for solid fuel (firewood, coal, pellets). Use with gas or oil boilers is permitted only within heated rooms. For outdoor installation (especially for inspection points), it is strongly recommended to use insulated elements to prevent the door from freezing shut due to condensate.
- Compatibility: Easily integrates into any part of the RENOFAST system thanks to the standard socket connection.

Important Installation Recommendations
- Accessibility: Install the element so that the hatch is always accessible. Do not enclose or brick in the inspection point without providing a service opening in the wall/cladding.
- Fixation: Like other elements, the inspection pipe must be secured with rivets or connecting clamps on both ends.
- System Configuration: Often installed in pair with a tee (at the bottom of the chimney) or before elbows.
- Linear Sections: To build up height before and after the inspection point, use standard 1000 mm pipes and 500 mm pipes for adjustments.
