The reliability of a chimney system depends not only on the quality of the metal but also on the consumables that hold the structure together. This section contains fasteners, sealants, and accessories necessary for gas-tight assembly, safe insulation, and subsequent maintenance of your chimney.
You do not need to look for components in different hardware stores — we have assembled a complete set specifically for working with stainless steel.
Necessary Components for Installation
To ensure the gas tightness and fire safety of the system, you will need:
- Heat-resistant Sealant: Mandatory for treating joints of pipes, tees, and elbows. It prevents air intake and smoke leakage through connections.
- Stainless Steel Rivets: The only reliable method for rigidly fixing elements together. Aluminium rivets cannot be used on stainless steel due to the risk of galvanic corrosion.
- Fireproof Insulation: Basalt wool or ceramic fibre for organising safe penetrations through ceilings and walls.
- Cleaning Tools: Special brushes (plastic/nylon for stainless steel to avoid scratching the pipe surface) and flexible rods for maintenance.
Custom Solutions and Bespoke Manufacturing
If the boiler room has complex geometry or requires a unique connection, standard parts may not be enough. Our production facility allows us to manufacture any element according to your drawings within 3-10 days:
- Complex Adapters: Rectangular to round, with offset centres (eccentric), flanged.
- Non-standard Lengths: Pipes and spigots exactly to your size (e.g., 375 mm).
- Unique Angles: Elbows and tees with non-standard degrees of rotation.
