RENOFAST Single-Wall 30° Stainless Steel Flue Bend (Elbow)
Product Description
The RENOFAST 30-degree flue bend is a shaped component for minimal adjustment of the chimney channel direction. It is used in situations where a slight offset of the chimney axis is required to bypass obstacles (rafters, beams) or to connect a heating appliance at a shallow angle.
Due to the small inclination angle, this bend creates the lowest aerodynamic resistance among all turning elements. This makes it the ideal choice for open fireplaces and natural draught systems where maintaining flue gas velocity is critical.
Application Features and Benefits
- Maximum Draught: A 30° turn practically does not slow down the smoke flow. This eliminates turbulence and minimizes soot deposition on the bend walls.
- Precise Offset: Combining two 30° bends allows you to create a neat "S-shape" offset with a small projection, which is convenient in narrow roof passage nodes.
- Versatility: The element is fully compatible with Renofast single-wall systems and is also ideal for connecting heating appliances to Izokompakt twin-wall insulated systems.
- Reliability: Manufactured from acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 304L / 316L (0.6 mm wall thickness), resistant to high temperatures (T600).

Installation Recommendations
To create a reliable assembly, follow these rules:
- Support: Even a shallow slope shifts the centre of gravity. The upper part of the pipe after the turn must be fixed with a wall bracket or clamp to relieve load from the bend.
- Joint Fixation: To prevent separation, the connection of the elbow to the pipes must be secured with rivets or a connecting clamp.
- Sealing: Be sure to use heat-resistant sealant during assembly to ensure gas tightness of the seam.
