Product Description

The RENOFAST telescopic flue pipe is an adjustable chimney component that allows for length variation between 300 and 450 mm. Structurally, the product consists of two pipes (250 mm each) sliding one inside the other.

This module is the perfect solution for sections where standard pipe sizes do not fit, and cutting stainless steel manually is difficult or undesirable. The telescope allows for precise "on-site" size adjustment and compensates for installation tolerances.

Application Features and Benefits

• Installation without Cutting: The main advantage is the preservation of factory edges and sockets. You do not need to saw off a piece of pipe to fit the required size, which guarantees tightness and prevents corrosion at the cut point.
• Thermal Expansion Compensation: The sliding design effectively absorbs the linear expansion of the metal during heating, reducing stress on rigidly fixed chimney elements.
• Fuel Type: Optimized for solid fuel (firewood, coal, pellets). Use with gas or oil boilers is permitted only within heated rooms. For outdoor installation, insulated twin-wall (sandwich) chimneys are recommended.
• Reliability: Manufactured from acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 304L / 316L, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C.

Important Installation Recommendations

• Length Fixation: Once you have extended the pipe to the required length, the overlap joint must be securely fixed. Use stainless steel rivets or a wide locking band (clamp) for this purpose.
• Sealing: It is recommended to seal the telescope joints with heat-resistant sealant to prevent air leakage.
• System Connection: The top and bottom of the element feature standard sockets and connect to any RENOFAST system parts (tees, elbows, straight pipes).
• Main Run: This element is used for local adjustment. To build up the main chimney height, use standard 1000 mm pipes.
