SPNP Black Steel Chimney Tee 90° with Cleanout
Product Overview & Application
The SPNP 90° black steel connecting tee with cleanout for pellet stoves is a combined shaped fitting. It performs two main functions: providing a reliable transition from the horizontal exhaust section of the pellet appliance to the vertical main line, and offering convenient access for system maintenance. The sealed cleanout cover allows for regular chimney cleaning to remove soot and ash without dismantling the system. To build the main trunk, use the standard 1000 mm flue pipe.
Technical Advantages & Design
- Connection Configuration: The top and side branches are equipped with sockets featuring built-in gaskets, while the bottom outlet has a smooth spigot for connection with lower elements.
- Easy Maintenance: The cleanout provides quick access to inspect the channel and remove combustion products, which is critical for maintaining a stable draft.
- Gas-Tight Sealing: The sockets and the cleanout cover feature heat-resistant silicone gaskets, protecting against gas leaks into the room.
- Condensate Resistance: DC01 steel (1.2 mm wall thickness) offers resilience against moisture and the mildly aggressive environment inside the flue.
- Protective Coating: The exterior is coated with Senotherm heat-resistant paint. It protects the metal from external corrosion, provides a neat appearance, and remains odorless during the initial heating phase.

Installation & Recommendations
The tee is installed at the base of the vertical part of the chimney. The lower (smooth) outlet of the tee must be closed with an appropriate element for collecting moisture. For this purpose, use the SPNP black bottom cap or the SPNP black condensate drain.
Assembly of the elements is carried out by firmly inserting the sockets into each other. Ensure all components are installed in the direction of condensate flow. This guarantees that any forming moisture drains smoothly into the lower part of the tee without penetrating through the joints.
