SPNP Black Steel Downward Chimney Condensate Drain
Product Overview & Application
The SPNP black downward condensate drain is a specialized terminating element for the flue system, manufactured from DC01 steel. This part is installed at the lowest point of the vertical exhaust trunk, typically on the lower branch of the tee. The primary purpose of this element is the collection and continuous drainage of forming liquid (condensate) and atmospheric precipitation from the channel through a dedicated downward nozzle, as well as providing access for visual inspection of the system.
Technical Advantages & Design
- Efficient Drainage: The downward-pointing nozzle allows for the connection of a hose to drain liquid into the sewage system or a dedicated container, preventing moisture accumulation in the chimney.
- Gas-Tight Sealing: The built-in silicone gasket guarantees a tight fit on the tee and reliable protection against flue gas leaks into the room.
- Environmental Resistance: The DC01 steel (1.2 mm wall thickness) offers the necessary resilience to prolonged exposure to moisture and the mildly aggressive environment inside the exhaust system.
- Protective Coating: The exterior is coated with Senotherm heat-resistant paint. It protects the part from external corrosion, provides a neat appearance, and remains odorless during the heating phase.

Installation & Recommendations
The element fits securely over the lower (smooth) spigot of the tee. Assembly is done manually; the gas-tightness of the joint is ensured by the fitting geometry and the silicone ring.
If the operating conditions of the pellet stove do not lead to the formation of liquid condensate, and only periodic cleaning of soot is required, the solid SPNP black bottom cap (external) can be used as an alternative.
