RENOFAST Single-Wall 90° Elbow with Inspection Hatch
Product Description
The RENOFAST 90-degree elbow with an inspection hatch is a combined chimney element that unites the functions of a bend and a maintenance point. It is used in places where the channel direction changes, and where access for soot removal is required, but it is not possible to install a separate inspection tee.
Structurally, it is a segmented elbow with a spigot and a sealed cap welded onto the outer side. This design allows for cleaning the horizontal section of the chimney without dismantling the structure.
Features and Benefits
- Space Saving: The ideal solution for tight spaces. You do not need to install a bulky combination of "Tee + Cap + Elbow". One part solves both tasks.
- Access Convenience: The hatch is located on the outer radius of the turn, providing direct tool entry into the horizontal part of the pipe for blockage removal.
- Airtightness: The cap reliably covers the inspection opening, preventing air intake and smoke leakage into the room.
- Material: Manufactured from acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 304L / 316L (0.6 mm wall thickness), resistant to aggressive condensate and high temperatures.

Installation Recommendations
When installing, consider the following nuances:
- Location: Install the element so that there is free access to the hatch cap. Do not brick it into walls or enclosures without service panels.
- Sealing: Segment joints and the hatch insertion point experience increased stress. Use heat-resistant sealant during assembly.
- Support: The element must be secured. It is recommended to use locking bands or wall brackets to relieve weight load.
- Cleaning: This element is primarily designed for cleaning the horizontal section. For full maintenance of the vertical stack, it is better to provide a separate inspection tee at its base.
