Insulated chimneys Izokompakt
IZOKOMPAKT — Twin Wall Chimneys from Manufacturer Akvilon
IZOKOMPAKT is a three-layer insulated chimney system (Twin Wall / Sandwich), manufactured in the EU (Latvia). It is a universal solution for building new flue systems from scratch, installing them on the building facade, or passing safely through wooden ceilings and roofs.
The construction consists of an inner pipe (acid-resistant stainless steel), a layer of high-density basalt insulation (50 mm), and an outer protective casing. The system is certified according to the CE EN 1856-1 standard and guarantees the fire safety of your home.
If you require installation assistance, we also provide professional installation services for insulated chimneys
Is this system right for you?
Before ordering, make sure that IZOKOMPAKT is exactly what your project needs:
- YES, if there is no brick shaft: You need to install a chimney from scratch — running it along the street facade or through the interior of the house to the roof.
- YES, for Timber Frame houses: You need the maximum level of fire safety when the pipe passes through walls, ceilings, or the roof structure.
- NO, if you just need to reline a chimney: If you already have an existing brick chimney and want to insert a liner inside, a sandwich system can be used, but it is excessively expensive and consumes space. For relining (renovation), choose our Single Wall System RENOFAST.
Choose the external appearance of the chimney
The inner pipe (working part) is always made of high-quality stainless steel. However, you can choose the material of the outer casing to match your budget or home design:
Mirror Stainless Steel Casing (Stock Program)
The most popular choice. The chimney is completely (both inside and out) made of stainless steel. Such a chimney looks impressive, shines in the sun, and highlights the modern style of the building.
Suitable if you want a maximally durable "install and forget" solution. The mirror surface is the polished metal itself, not a layer of paint. It will never peel off, fade, and is always available in our stock.
Painted Steel (RAL)
Maximum aesthetics. We apply polymer powder paint to the outer casing industrially. This creates an additional protective layer and gives the pipe a premium look.
Suitable if it is important for the chimney to match the color of your roof or facade perfectly (produced on request).
Galvanized Steel Casing
A budget solution for technical buildings. The outer shell is made of galvanized steel.
Suitable for industrial facilities, boiler rooms, or if the chimney runs along the back facade where aesthetics are not critical. (Rarely in stock, mostly made to order).
How to choose the steel grade (Inner pipe)?
We offer two types of steel for the inner pipe. For 90% of cases, AISI 304 steel is ideally suitable and is always in stock.
| Grade | Application and Properties |
|---|---|
| AISI 304 (Golden Mean) In Stock | Suitable for: Wood stoves, fireplaces, sauna stoves, briquettes, and pellets. Universal heat-resistant steel. An excellent choice for all types of solid fuel in dry or moderately humid conditions. Optimal price-quality ratio. |
| AISI 316L (Acid-resistant) PREMIUM | Mandatory only for: Gas boilers, oil boilers, and systems with a large amount of aggressive (acidic) condensate. Contains molybdenum, which makes it resistant to corrosive acids. Recommended for industrial facilities or specific conditions. |
