External plastic gravity grilles
Description
Plastic external gravity grilles are designed for installation on external walls in exhaust ventilation systems. A feature of the design is the movable louvers, which act as a non-return valve.
Operating principle and application
- Non-return valve: The louvers open under the airflow from the fan and close automatically under their own weight when the system is switched off.
- Protection: Closed louvers prevent backdraft and protect the premises from the penetration of cold air during the winter period.
- Application: Used as an external element for exhaust ventilation systems in kitchens, bathrooms, and other domestic or industrial facilities.
