Volume control dampers for JR 7/2 grilles

Description and purpose

Volume control dampers (also known as throttle valves) are an essential optional component for JR series ventilation grilles. While the grille manages the airflow direction, the damper is used for system balancing and precise adjustment of the air volume passing through the unit.

Design and installation

• Mechanism: The damper features parallel blades that can be adjusted to restrict or increase the airflow volume as needed.
• Mounting: The unit is designed to be installed directly onto the rear side of the ventilation grille.
• Dimensions: According to the technical specifications, the total depth of the assembly is 87 mm.
• Application: Ideally suited for both supply and exhaust systems where individual balancing of each air distribution point is required.
