Silencers
Silencers are designed to reduce aerodynamic noise in ventilation ducts. The air in the system must be free of solid, sticky or aggressive impurities. The maximum operating air temperature is 60°C and the maximum permissible speed is 10 m/s. The silencer is made of galvanised steel with mineral fibre absorbent material. For maximum sound attenuation efficiency, it is recommended to provide a straight section of at least 1,0 m in front of the silencer.
The standard width and spacing of sound absorbing elements shall be 100 mm.
