Circular galvanized steel ventilation end caps are designed to tightly seal the terminal sections of air ducting branches. They reliably protect the ventilation infrastructure from internal accumulation of atmospheric dust, moisture, job-site debris, and pests, keeping the network perfectly clean during active service or during the temporary isolation of specific lines. Properly capping dead ends ensures the correct volumetric distribution of air pressure throughout the system, allowing both supply and extract configurations to operate exactly as designed.
These components are manufactured from structural galvanized sheet steel engineered for decades of reliable service under conditions of normal relative humidity. Automated tooling provides a precise collar profile, simplifying component alignment on-site while minimizing localized air leaks, pressure losses, or disturbing whistling noises at the terminal points of the run.
Key Benefits of Circular End Caps
- EPDM Rubber Seal: On airtight models of small and medium diameters, the rubber seal is securely fixed by a rolled edge. For large-diameter end caps (from 400 mm), the sealing rubber is fitted manually onto the collar, providing the necessary tightness after installation. Economical non-sealed profiles are also available for standard networks.
- Edge Features: For diameters under 400 mm, folded edge technology (SAFE) is applied, which increases the rigidity of the rim and makes installation safer. Products of 400 mm and above feature a standard straight edge.
- Fast and stable male connection: Featuring a calibrated male connection diameter, the cap inserts directly inside a standard straight duct section, providing a secure fit without requiring specialized couplers.
