Rolled downpipe shoe

The rolled downpipe shoe (also known as a lower bend or discharge outlet) is the finishing element of the rainwater system's vertical riser. It is installed at the lowest point of the downpipe to direct rainwater and melted snow into the drainage system, storm sewer, or simply at a safe distance from the building's plinth.

Unlike intermediate bends, the lower shoe features a specially hemmed (rolled) edge at the discharge opening, protecting the metal from deformation caused by accidental mechanical impact. The part is assembled from segments using a durable folded seam (rolling). The product is available in galvanized steel, as well as with a Polyester polymer coating for maximum corrosion protection and an aesthetic appearance.
