Adjustable In-Duct Silencer Valve
The in-duct silencer valve is a smart two-in-one solution for creating an ideal indoor climate. Installed directly into the round ventilation duct just before the anemostat, it tackles two tasks simultaneously: precise balancing of the incoming air volume and effective noise reduction. This component ensures that fan hum from the heat recovery unit and the sound of moving air do not reach your living spaces.
The valve is made of elastic, sound-absorbing polyurethane (acoustic foam). This material compresses easily for a snug, gap-free fit inside the pipe. To adjust the airflow capacity, the valve features removable central segments. By taking out more or fewer segments, the installer can easily set the required air volume for a specific room.
Key Features and Benefits
- 2-in-1 Functionality. This part replaces both a separate mechanical damper and a duct silencer, saving space and reducing the overall cost of the ventilation node.
- Cascade installation for ultimate silence. A key feature of this valve is that multiple elements can be installed in series. For areas requiring perfect quiet, such as bedrooms or recording studios, placing two or three valves in a row significantly multiplies the noise reduction effect.
- Quick, concealed mounting. The flexible polyurethane is installed simply by pushing it into the duct without screws, glue, or clamps, completely preserving your interior aesthetics behind suspended ceilings.
