14-Outlet Double-Row Ventilation Manifold and Air Distribution Box
A 14-outlet double-row HRV distribution box is a high-capacity ventilation manifold designed to distribute airflow from the main duct to fourteen separate air outlets. The defining feature of this model is the double-row arrangement of the branch connections. This structural design significantly saves lateral installation space (the base casing width is only 251 mm). Depending on project requirements, the manifold can be equipped with galvanized steel (OC), plastic (PK), or rubber (GM) branch connections.
Where is it used?
This double-row manifold is widely used in high-performance heat recovery ventilation (HRV) systems. The double-row configuration is exceptionally well-suited for installation in narrow wall niches, vertical ventilation shafts, or restricted technical cabinets where the lateral width available for routing ductwork is strictly limited.
Design Features and Benefits
- Load-resistant steel casing: The rigid galvanized steel resists corrosion and maintains its geometric integrity during concealed installation under the pressure of structural materials.
- Space-saving footprint: The double-row layout makes the manifold significantly more compact in width compared to classic single-row, high-capacity alternatives, providing a critical mounting advantage.
- Condensation protection: For systems operating with cold outdoor air or installed in unheated zones, insulated versions (index I) featuring a built-in mineral wool layer are available to prevent internal condensation.
Branch Connection Options
The selected material for the branch connections defines the duct fixing method and the overall characteristics of the junction:
- OC (Galvanized steel): A classic, high-strength solution. Rigid metal branches provide maximum mechanical integrity and reliability for the connection.
- PK (Plastic): Equipped with polymer branches featuring special fixing rings for the secure retention of flexible ducts. Plastic components have low thermal conductivity, reducing the risk of thermal bridging at the joints.
- GM (Rubber): Branches feature elastic seals for a friction-based, airtight fit. This design ensures the tightest possible connection, guaranteeing a high airtightness class across the entire ventilation main.
