Den Braven Gasket-Sealant Red High-Temperature Silicone (Red, 310 ml)

Den Braven Gasket-Sealant Red is a high-temperature, one-component acetoxy silicone sealant. The compound cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture to form a tough, long-lasting, and highly elastic rubber seal. It has been specifically developed for form-in-place liquid gasketing applications in components subjected to elevated thermal exposure.

The material exhibits exceptional primerless adhesion to most non-porous substrates, including glass, painted wood, ceramic, and enameled surfaces. This sealant is completely non-paintable.

Design and Operational Features:

• Excellent Heat Resistance: The cured seal maintains its mechanical integrity and stability within a severe temperature range from -40°C to +300°C.
• Form-in-Place Gasketing: Engineered specifically for liquid gasketing applications. Highly effective for sealing oven doors, hotplates, heating systems, and joints where high thermal resistance is required, such as drains, thermostats, pumps, heating pipes, and low-pressure engine parts.
• Application Thickness: To achieve optimal performance, the sealant must be applied with a minimum thickness of 2 mm per coat.
• Limitations: The formula cannot be painted over. Not suitable for substrates made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, and bituminous materials.
