Description

Den Braven Tixoplast is  bitumen-based sealant and adhesive. The product cures into a plastic, durable, and waterproof seal through solvent evaporation. It has been specifically developed for professional and DIY roofing installation and emergency repair applications.

The material features outstanding adhesion to most common construction substrates. It is highly suitable for roofing applications in combination with bituminous materials, guttering elements, and downpipes. A key advantage of this sealant is its ability to be applied onto damp, non-porous substrates, making it an indispensable choice for stopping leaks and conducting urgent repairs during wet weather conditions.

Design and Operational Features:

• Versatile application: Suitable for installation, repair and sealing of roof coverings, prevention of roof and gutter leaks, filling cracks, joints and gaps, as well as sealing roof penetrations, ventilation outlets, chimneys, gutters, downpipes and other roof elements.
• Application in damp conditions: The sealant can be applied to damp non-porous surfaces, making it suitable for quick emergency repairs.
• High durability: After complete curing, the material remains flexible and resistant to weather conditions and temperature fluctuations.
• Limitations: The product is not suitable for surfaces made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), PMMA (acrylic glass) and Teflon (PTFE), as well as polystyrene insulation panels.
