Description

The roof hatch with a glass insert is designed for installation on pitched and flat roofs. The design is suitable for mounting on metal roofs (profiled sheets, metal tiles, and flat metal roofing) as well as soft roofing materials. The product combines the functions of a roof access hatch for maintenance and a roof window, providing natural daylight in attic or technical spaces during daylight hours.

When installed on a soft roof, the metal flashing plate is fastened to the roof deck, after which roll roofing material is torch-applied over it, or the edges of the metal flashing plate are neatly hidden under bitumen shingle elements.

Available as galvanized steel models or painted variants with a protective polymer coating (PE, PUR).

Design Features

• Natural daylight: the built-in rectangular glazing lets in daylight, reducing the need for artificial lighting in the attic space.
• Universal installation: the flat metal base allows for a watertight connection of the hatch to both metal sheets and torch-on soft roofing materials.
• Protection against deformation: stiffening ribs are formed on the base walls, and the lower edge of the cover is folded inward to ensure structural rigidity and safe use.
• Assembly without welding: welding: components are joined mechanically, which preserves the protective zinc coating and reduces the risk of corrosion at the joints.
• Heavy-duty handle: a convenient handle made of a 4 mm thick metal strip is installed on the inside of the hatch cover. It ensures easy opening and reliable operation during intensive use.
• Optimized geometry: the oval shape facilitates the drainage of rain and meltwater, preventing moisture accumulation at the base.
