Description

The oval roof access hatch is designed for installation on pitched and flat roofs. The design is suitable for mounting on metal roofs (profiled sheets, metal tiles, and flat metal roofing) as well as soft roofing materials. When installed on soft roofing, the metal base of the hatch is fastened to the roof deck, after which roll roofing material is torch-applied over it, or the edges of the metal flashing plate are neatly hidden under bitumen shingle elements.

The product provides convenient roof access for maintenance, chimney cleaning, and repairs.

Available as galvanized steel models or painted roof hatches with a protective polymer coating (PE, PUR).

Design Features

• Universal installation: the flat metal base allows for a watertight connection of the hatch to both metal sheets and torch-on soft roofing materials.
• Structural rigidity and safe operation: stiffening ribs are formed on the base walls, and the lower edge of the cover is folded inward to ensure rigidity and safe use.
• Reliable connections: components are joined mechanically without welding. This preserves the protective zinc coating and reduces the risk of metal deformation.
• Heavy-duty handle: a convenient handle made of a 4 mm thick metal strip is installed on the inside of the hatch cover. It ensures easy opening and long service life during intensive use.
• Optimized geometry: the oval shape facilitates the drainage of rain and meltwater, preventing moisture accumulation at the base.
