Oval Chimney Cleanout Tee with Rectangular Hatch (Wide Side) RENOFAST
Description and Design
The Oval Cleanout Tee with Rectangular Hatch is an advanced maintenance element for chimney systems, designed for maximum convenience. This specific model is intended for installation in shafts where access to the pipe is available from the wide (flat) side of the oval.
Distinctive Features:
The main feature of this product is the presence of a spacious rectangular inspection pocket. Unlike narrow circular branches, this shape provides maximum clearance for accessing the inside of the channel. This allows you to:
- Easily remove large volumes of accumulated soot and solid creosote.
- Use wide cleaning tools.
- Inspect the condition of the chimney walls using a mirror or camera.
Hatch Cover: The pocket is closed by a removable rectangular stainless steel panel. It is equipped with a convenient handle, allowing the cleanout to be opened without keys or screwdrivers.
Model Advantages
- Access Geometry: The connection is located on the wide side (180 or 220 mm), which physically allows for a larger opening than on the narrow edge.
- Ergonomics: The rectangular shape matches the anatomy of the hand and the shape of the brush, making the maintenance process fast and clean.
- Tightness: The cover fits tightly against the pocket flange, preventing air intake (which worsens the draft) and smoke penetration into the room.
- Durability: The entire assembly is made of acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 304L / 316L.

Installation Recommendations
- Location: Installed at the bottom of the chimney stack. Ensure that building structures (walls, boxes) do not block access to the wide side of the shaft where the hatch will be located.
- Condensate Drainage: The cleanout design does not provide for liquid drainage through the cover. Therefore, a condensate drain must be installed below the cleanout tee.
- Orientation: If access to the chimney is only possible from the narrow edge, choose the model with narrow side connection.
