Oval to Round Chimney Adapter RENOFAST
Description and Purpose
The Oval to Round Adapter is a connection element allowing the joining of chimney sections with different geometric shapes. Most often, it is used to connect heating boilers with a round flue outlet to an oval liner installed in a brick shaft.
Application Scenarios:
- System Start: Transition from the boiler's round flue pipe to the vertical oval riser.
- Ventilation: Connecting round air ducts to rectangular or oval ventilation channels.
- Complex Sections: Bypassing obstacles or changing the configuration of the flue route.
Advantages and Manufacturing Capabilities
Since boiler diameters and shaft sizes vary, this element often requires a custom approach. We offer:
- Offset (Eccentricity): If the boiler is not located strictly in the center of the shaft, we can manufacture an adapter with an offset center (according to your drawing) so that the pipe aligns perfectly.
- Connection Types: Available as a standard socket connection ("pipe-in-pipe") or with mounting flanges for attachment to a wall or boiler.
- Material: Acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 304L / 316L, capable of withstanding high temperatures, is used.
Technical Specifications

Installation Recommendations
- Sealing: The junction of different shapes is a high-risk area. When assembling, be sure to use heat-resistant sealant (up to 1200°C) and, if necessary, secure the connection with rivets or screws.
- Compatibility: The oval part of the adapter fits perfectly with standard elements, for example, the oval pipe or tee.
