Oval Condensate Collector (Drain) with Narrow Side Outlet RENOFAST
Description and Purpose
The Oval Condensate Collector is the basal element of the chimney system, installed at the very bottom of the vertical shaft. Its function is to collect and discharge all moisture flowing down the inner walls of the pipe (condensate), as well as precipitation entering through the chimney mouth.
The distinctive feature of this model: the outlet tube (spigot) is located on the narrow end of the oval (115 mm).
Why is this important?
Condensate in a modern boiler is not just water, but a weak acid solution. Installing a hermetic stainless steel collector prevents this moisture from being absorbed into the chimney foundation and destroying the brickwork.
Advantages and Characteristics
- Installation Geometry: Placing the outlet on the narrow side allows for condensate drainage even in deep niches where the side walls of the shaft fit tightly against the wide part of the pipe.
- Chemical Resistance: Since aggressive liquid accumulates in this specific part, it is made of acid-resistant steel AISI 304L / 316L, which is resistant to pitting corrosion.
- Leak-proof Bottom: TIG welding ensures 100% tightness of the container.
- Customization: It is possible to manufacture parts with non-standard parameters (increased spigot diameter, extended tube, changed cup height) according to your drawing.

Installation Recommendations
- Maintenance: The condensate outlet tube has a small diameter and can get clogged with soot. Be sure to provide access to the collector for periodic cleaning of the channel.
- Fluid Drainage: A hose (silicone or PVC) must be attached to the spigot and led to a condensate neutralizer or sewage system.
- Alternatives: If the shaft configuration does not allow the tube to be led out from the narrow end, consider models with the outlet on the wide side or vertically downwards.
