Oval Chimney Cleanout Tee 90° (Inspection) on Wide Side
Description and Purpose
The Oval Cleanout Tee with Cap is a maintenance element for the chimney system, providing access to the channel for cleaning and inspection. This model is installed when access to the chimney is required from the wide (flat) side of the oval.
The product comes with a special stainless steel cap (plug). It is equipped with a convenient handle for removal and securely closes the inspection opening, preventing smoke from entering the room.
Design Features
- Easy Maintenance: The wide neck allows for unobstructed removal of soot that has fallen down, using a vacuum cleaner or brush.
- Tightness: The cap fits tightly onto the branch, ensuring isolation of the flue channel.
- Geometry: The inspection branch extends 140 mm from the pipe axis, simplifying installation through the shaft lining.
- Orientation: The connection is centered on the wide plane of the oval (180 or 220 mm side).

System Assembly Recommendations
For the maintenance system to work correctly, follow these rules:
- Moisture Drainage: The tee is a "through" element. A condensate drain must be connected to the bottom.
- Fixation: Be sure to secure connections with stainless steel rivets. This eliminates the risk of pipe disconnection during mechanical chimney cleaning.
- Access: Plan the installation so that the inspection cap faces the door in the brickwork or enclosure.
