Oval Chimney Cleanout Tee 90° (Inspection) on Narrow Side
Description and Purpose
The Oval Cleanout Tee with Cap is a basic maintenance element of the RENOFAST chimney system. It is installed at the base of the vertical shaft and provides sealed access for soot removal and condensate drainage.
This model is designed for oval chimneys where access is required from the narrow side of the oval. The set includes a removable stainless steel cap (plug) with a handle, which tightly closes the inspection opening, preventing flue gases from entering the room.
Design Features
- Convenient Access: The large diameter round opening allows for easy use of a chimney brush or vacuum cleaner for soot removal.
- Tightness: The cap fits securely onto the branch socket, ensuring a tight connection.
- Geometry: The inspection branch extends 140 mm from the chimney axis, which simplifies installation through the wall thickness.
- Orientation: The connection is located strictly in the center of the narrow side (115 mm).

System Assembly Recommendations
Proper installation of the cleanout tee ensures easy chimney maintenance in the future.
- Completeness: The cleanout tee has a "through" design (no bottom). It must be connected to a condensate drain at the bottom to allow moisture to escape.
- Fixation: Joints of oval pipes must be secured with stainless steel rivets. This prevents the element from rotating or shifting during active cleaning.
- Access: When installing in a brick shaft, ensure the inspection opening aligns perfectly with the maintenance hatch in the wall.
