Elliptical side Tee for wide-end connection to oval flue pipe

Elliptical branch tee PVEP is designed to connect a heating appliance or a horizontal chimney section to the main vertical flue. The tee’s design ensures that the inlet cross-sectional area is not reduced, allowing flue gases to pass freely without compromising draft.

The upper part of the tee has a raised section that minimizes gas turbulence and eliminates flow impacts when joining the main flue, improving the system’s efficiency. The lower section is angled to prevent condensate from entering the room and ensures its safe drainage through the chimney.

The special design allows connection of the heating appliance from the wide side of the oval pipe, which is especially convenient in confined spaces. Typically, the branch tee is used together with a cleaning tee (inspection) and a condensate drain, ensuring safe and efficient chimney operation.

When fitted with a cover, this tee becomes an inspection tee for cleaning purposes.
