Oval Single-Wall Chimneys RENOFAST

Oval chimney liners are the best engineering solution for upgrading rectangular brick shafts. This shape allows you to utilize 100% of the useful area of the smoke channel, which is impossible to achieve using round pipes.

SIA Akvilon manufactures RENOFAST systems at its own production facility in Riga. We use industrial TIG welding, which guarantees seam tightness. The products are certified according to standard EN 1856-2:2009 (Requirements for metal chimneys and liners).

Our Advantages

Why professionals and private clients choose Akvilon chimneys:

  • Direct from Manufacturer: You work directly with us, getting a fair price without markups from intermediaries.
  • In Stock: We maintain a constant stock of main items. You don't need to wait for weeks — you can come and buy.
  • Convenient Logistics: Arrange fast delivery (across Latvia and the EU) or pick up your order from our warehouse.
  • Standard EN 1856-2: The CE marking confirms that the products have passed factory production control and are safe for operation.

If you require installation, we also provide professional chimney lining services.

Oval or Round: What's the Difference?

When choosing a liner for a standard brick shaft (usually 140x270 mm), you face a geometric limitation. A round pipe is limited by the narrow side of the shaft — a maximum of Ø130 mm will fit. This cross-section is often insufficient for powerful boilers, while the corners of the shaft remain empty.

The oval liner solves this problem. A pipe sized 115x220 mm easily fits into such a channel, but its flow capacity is equivalent to a round pipe of Ø160 mm. You get the power of a large pipe that physically fits into a narrow shaft.

Materials: Which System to Choose?

We offer two versions for different tasks:

RENOFAST 600 (AISI 304L) — Standard

The universal solution that we constantly keep in stock. AISI 304L steel is the optimal choice for most cases: pellet (granule) boilers, wood stoves, fireplaces, sauna heaters, and gas boilers. Excellent combination of price and reliability.

RENOFAST 600 Plus (AISI 316L) — Acid-Resistant

A version made of steel with added molybdenum. Mandatory for systems with aggressive condensate: diesel boilers, industrial facilities, and environments with high requirements for corrosion resistance.

Full Range of Components

Our catalog contains all the necessary parts for a "turnkey" chimney assembly:

Main Elements

Pipes: Straight sections 1m, 0.5m, and 0.25m.

Tees: Connections 90° and 45° (connection on narrow or wide side).

Inspection: Cleanout tees for inspection and cleaning.

Fittings

Elbows: Angles 45° and 90° (bend on narrow or wide side).

Condensate: Condensate collectors (drains) with outlet.

Installation

Top Assembly: Rain caps, storm collars, and top cover plates.

Adapters: Oval to round transitions for boiler connection.

Sizes and Equivalents

The table below shows which round diameter corresponds to the oval pipe in terms of flow capacity (hydraulics).

Oval Size (AxB) Round Equivalent Min. Channel Size*
180 x 115 mm Ø 135 mm from 140 x 270 mm
220 x 115 mm Ø 160 mm from 140 x 270 mm

* The size of a standard brick channel is indicated ("brick by half-brick"). The oval liner is suitable for any other shafts into which it physically fits.
