RENOFAST Stainless Steel Chimney Centring Ring (Spacer)
Product Description
The RENOFAST chimney centring ring (spacer) is a specialised installation component used when relining brick chimneys. It fits onto the stainless steel pipe and serves to center it inside the shaft.
Thanks to this element, the liner is positioned strictly vertically and does not touch the walls of the brick channel. This ensures a uniform ventilation gap around the pipe, which is necessary for cooling and preventing structural overheating.
Features and Benefits
- Ideal Centring: Four protruding flexible legs securely hold the pipe in the centre of the channel, compensating for irregularities in the brickwork.
- Pipe Protection: Prevents mechanical damage and deformation of the chimney against rough shaft walls during thermal expansion of the metal.
- Simple Installation: The ring functions as a clamp mechanism. It is tightened on the pipe using a bolt, allowing it to be quickly secured in the required place before lowering the structure into the shaft.
- Material: Manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304L/316L, resistant to corrosion in the aggressive chimney environment.

Installation Recommendations
- Installation Interval: To ensure structural rigidity, it is recommended to install one ring for every 3 metres of pipe (i.e., every three 1000 mm sections).
- Adjustment: If the brick shaft size is smaller than the "leg" spread, the flexible metal strips can be bent or trimmed on-site for a tight but free fit.
- Fixation: The ring is tightened on the pipe using a bolted connection. Ensure it is securely fixed and does not slip before lowering into the shaft.
