Product Overview & Application

The SPNP 90° black steel connecting elbow with rubber gasket for pellet stoves is a shaped fitting designed to change the direction of the flue channel at a right angle. This bend is used to bypass architectural obstacles and for the horizontal or vertical connection of your pellet appliance to the main chimney. To build straight sections of the exhaust channel, use the standard 1000 mm flue pipe.

Installation & Recommendations

Installation of the bend is performed by inserting the socket into the adjacent element using the push-fit method. Ensure all components are installed in the direction of condensate flow. This guarantees that any moisture drains smoothly downwards and does not penetrate through the joints.

When designing chimney curves, keep in mind that each 90° elbow creates additional aerodynamic resistance in the system. If the room architecture allows, it is better to use the SPNP black 45° bend to change direction, as it provides a smoother turn and better draft.

If a right angle is strictly necessary (for example, when connecting directly to a wall), we recommend considering the SPNP black 90° elbow with inspection door for convenient maintenance and cleaning of hard-to-reach areas.

Since directional joints are subjected to weight loads, we strongly recommend securing the adjacent straight flue sections to the wall using SPNP black wall brackets.
