Chimney Connection Adapter (Increase) Jeremias Ferro-Lux

Purpose and Application

The adapter from the Ferro-Lux series is a connecting element designed to adapt a heating appliance to a chimney of a larger diameter. This solution is used in situations where the stove outlet is smaller than the main chimney flue.

The adapter is made of 2 mm thick DC01 structural steel. This ensures the strength of the connection joint exposed to high thermal loads.

Technical Features

• Configuration (Increase): The adapter has a "spigot end — socket" design. The bottom part is inserted into the stove outlet or a smaller diameter pipe, while the top socket accepts the next pipe.
• Connection Aesthetics: The cone transition is smooth. Welded seams make the part visually cohesive, which is important for visible chimney sections.
• Senotherm 702.284 Coating: The element is painted with heat-resistant Senotherm enamel (code 702.284 — deep black). This ensures a color match with the rest of the Ferro-Lux system and no odor during heating.
• Strength: The 2 mm wall thickness provides heat resistance (T600 class) and structural rigidity.

Mounting

The narrowed spigot end of the adapter is inserted inside the stove outlet or a smaller diameter pipe, and the socket part is placed over the next chimney pipe. It is recommended to seal the joint with heat-resistant fire sealant.
