Application and Functionality
The adjustable elbow from the Ferro-Lux series (0-45° range) is an element for fine-tuning the chimney geometry. Unlike fixed welded elbows, this model consists of two movable segments connected by a clamping mechanism. This allows you to set any tilt angle from 0 to 45 degrees.
This element is useful when connecting fireplace inserts, when the outlet of the appliance and the inlet to the chimney shaft have a slight misalignment. The rotary design allows compensating for deviations without stressing the metal and breaking the gas tightness.
Technical Features
- Smooth adjustment: The rotary mechanism, fixed by a clamping band, makes it possible to change the tilt angle with an accuracy of one degree. This simplifies installation in tight spaces.
- Build quality: The segments themselves are made of a pipe with a laser longitudinal seam, which ensures correct circle geometry. The joint is made with minimal clearances to prevent smoke leakage.
- Connection with narrowing: The element is equipped with a "Plug-and-socket" connection system (narrowing of the inserted end), which eliminates the use of external sockets at the connection ends.
- Senotherm 702.284 coating: The part is painted with heat-resistant Senotherm enamel (code 702.284 - deep black), which protects the steel and adjustment mechanisms from corrosion.

Mounting and Setup
To set the angle, loosen the clamping band, turn the segments relative to each other until the desired geometry is obtained, and tighten the lock again. After final installation, it is recommended to treat the inner joint of the rotary mechanism with a high-temperature sealant to prevent air suction.
Important Limitations
- Application: For internal installation only. Do not use as a load-bearing element (the elbow should not carry the weight of the entire chimney above it).
