Application and Functionality
The adjustable elbow from the Ferro-Lux series is a multifunctional element for connecting heating appliances. The design consists of movable segments, allowing you to smoothly change the rotation angle in a wide range from 0 to 90°.
This is a suitable solution for complex installation cases when the fireplace outlet and the chimney inlet are at different heights or require an offset. The built-in door provides mandatory access for cleaning and inspection of the channel, which is important for turning sections.
Design Features
- Adjustment mechanism: The angle change is achieved by rotating the segments relative to each other. A clamping mechanism (band) with a bolt clamp is provided at the joint for rigid fixation of the selected position.
- Inspection door: A door for soot cleaning is located on the central segment. The door cover is equipped with a convenient screw clamp ("wing nut"), ensuring a tight fit and gas tightness.
- Build quality: The segments themselves are made of 2 mm steel with a laser longitudinal seam. Painting with heat-resistant Senotherm enamel (code 702.284) protects moving parts from jamming and corrosion.
- Connection type: The elbow has a connection system with narrowing (Plug-and-socket). The top edge is narrowed by 4 mm (ØA-4) for insertion inside the next pipe, and the bottom has a nominal diameter.

Mounting and Setup
To set the angle, loosen the bolt on the clamping band, turn the segments to the desired position, and tighten the lock. After final assembly, it is recommended to seal the joints of the moving segments from the inside with heat-resistant sealant to ensure gas tightness.
