Chimney Elbow (Bend) 90° Jeremias Ferro-Lux
Application and Aesthetics
The 90° elbow from the Ferro-Lux series (manufactured by Jeremias, Germany) is designed to change the direction of the flue channel at a right angle. The element is made of DC01 black steel with a thickness of 2 mm.
This model is designed without an inspection door. This solution helps to maintain the clean lines of the chimney. In the interior, such a bend looks like a solid piece, not overloaded with technical elements (covers or caps).
Design Advantages
- Laser welding: Joints and seams are made using laser technologies. This ensures gas tightness and makes the welding spots practically invisible under the paint layer, preserving the visual aesthetics of the structure.
- Smooth geometry: The absence of protruding parts (doors) makes this element a suitable choice for visible sections of fireplace connections in living rooms and halls.
- Connection with narrowing: The connection of elements occurs via a "pipe into pipe" system due to the precision narrowing of one of the ends. This eliminates the need for external sockets.
- Senotherm 702.284 coating: The elbow is coated with heat-resistant Senotherm enamel (code 702.284 - deep black). The coating is polymerized at the factory, so there is no chemical smell during the first heating.

Mounting and Recommendations
The elbow is installed into the system by insertion. The narrowed edge goes inside the next element. Since the element does not have its own cleaning door, it is necessary to provide the possibility of maintaining the chimney through other elements of the system (for example, through the firebox itself or a tee with a condensate collector installed below).
Important Limitations
- Application: The element is a single-wall pipe and is intended for installation exclusively inside heated premises.
