Black Steel Stove Pipe Ferro-Lux, 500 mm
Purpose and Distinctions
The Ferro-Lux series pipe (500 mm length) from the German manufacturer Jeremias is designed to increase the height of the flue for stoves and fireplaces. The product is manufactured from 2 mm thick DC01 black steel. A key feature of this line is its orientation towards installation in residential areas where the flue remains a visible interior element.
Unlike standard pipes with a classic socket expansion, a tapered connection technology is applied here. This allows assembling a flue that visually appears as a straight column, without massive connection joints. The metal processing and welding quality make this pipe visually and tactilely monolithic.
Technical Features
- Laser welding: The longitudinal seam is laser-welded butt-to-butt. This ensures the precise geometry of the pipe and makes the seam practically unnoticeable under the paint layer, unlike standard welding, where a visible bead may be present.
- Tapered connection: One side of the pipe has a nominal diameter, while the other is mechanically reduced by 4 mm. The joining is tight, creating the effect of a seamless structure.
- Senotherm 702.284 coating: The original heat-resistant Senotherm enamel (code 702.284 — deep black) is applied. This shade is a standard for European stove manufacturers, guaranteeing a precise color match with the heating appliance. The paint undergoes factory polymerization, therefore it does not emit a pungent odor during the first heating.
- High precision: Strict manufacturing tolerances ensure the easy joining of elements without the necessity to apply physical force, which prevents scratches during mounting.

Mounting
Assembly is carried out by inserting the tapered end of one pipe into another. Due to the tight fit, the gas tightness of the exhaust channel is ensured. Recommended for application in living rooms, halls, and open interiors.
Important Limitations
- Application: Exclusively for connection to a flue indoors. Not to be used as a main chimney when passing through ceilings or outdoors (sandwich insulation is required).
