The S2 segmented increaser reducer (adapter), made from black steel (2 mm), is an element for connecting flue pipes of different diameters. It is designed to transition from a smaller diameter (e.g., from a heating appliance) to a larger flue system diameter. The size is specified as D1/D2, where D1 is the connecting smaller diameter (male, spigot end), and D2 is the receiving larger diameter (female, socket end), which is adjustable.
