Flue Damper with Mechanical Lock, 250 mm Pipe
Description and Operating Principle
A flue module (total pipe length is 250 mm) made of 2 mm thick DC01 black steel is an element for draft control. Unlike standard dampers, this model is equipped with a special mechanical lock on the handle (handle length 45 mm).
This mechanism allows rigidly fixing the rotatable plate in the selected position. The fixation eliminates spontaneous changes in the channel cross-section due to draft vibrations or accidental touches, guaranteeing the stability of the selected combustion mode throughout the entire operating cycle of the heating appliance.
Technical Advantages and Safety
- Precise Adjustment: The lock allows fixing the damper at the desired angle, providing precise control of the flue gas exhaust speed, which contributes to fuel economy.
- Standards Compliance: The product complies with LVS EN 16510-1:2023 standards and the LBN 231-15 building code. The structure is equipped with a restrictor screw that prevents the complete closure of the chimney, leaving the necessary gap for the safe removal of carbon monoxide.
- Heat-resistant Coating: Finished with heat-resistant Senotherm paint (matte black). The coating does not emit smoke or odors upon heating, protecting the steel from corrosion.
- Reliability: The 2 mm wall thickness provides high strength (T600 class) and resistance to deformations under thermal loads.
Product Specifications

| Standard | EN 1856-2 |
Mounting and Operation
The module is installed using the socket method. The joints should be sealed with a high-temperature stove compound. To ensure the reliability of the pipe connection, considering the physical impact on the handle during fixation, it is recommended to secure the joints mechanically (steel rivets or self-tapping screws).
For further extension of the chimney, a standard 1000 mm flue pipe of the corresponding diameter is used.
Important Limitations
- Attention! Removing the restrictor screw deprives the product of compliance with safety standards. Complete closure of the channel is permitted only in specialized systems under the full responsibility of the user.
- Application: Designed for solid fuel boilers, stoves, and fireplaces (firewood, briquettes). Do not use with pellet equipment.
