Description and Purpose

An adapter made of 0.8 mm thick DC01 black steel is a connecting element that allows connecting a heating appliance (boiler, fireplace insert, or stove) with a rectangular or square outlet collar to a standard round flue system.

The application of a factory-made adapter guarantees the gas tightness of the unit and correct aerodynamics of the flue gas flow, preventing turbulence in the area where the cross-sectional shape changes. A range of standard sizes is maintained in stock.

Mounting and Recommendations

The rectangular part of the adapter is placed onto the outlet collar of the heating appliance. The joint must be sealed with a heat-resistant stove sealant (up to 1200°C). The next chimney section, for example, a 1000 mm pipe, is installed onto the round part.
