Description and Purpose

A connecting nipple made of 2 mm thick DC01 black steel is a mounting element featuring smooth tapered ends (spigots) on both sides. It is the functional opposite of a connecting coupling and is designed to join two chimney elements that both have sockets.

This element is frequently applied to change the assembly direction of the flue (e.g., transitioning to a condensate-oriented assembly) or to connect fittings (tees, elbows) if their design requires an internal insert.

Technical Advantages

• Solving non-standard tasks: Allows reversing the pipe joining direction, creating a new smooth end in a place where a socket was located.
• Material identity: Manufactured from the same 2 mm steel as the pipes, ensuring uniform thermal expansion across the entire chimney section.

Mounting and Recommendations

The nipple is inserted inside the sockets of the connected elements. The joints must be coated with a heat-resistant stove sealant to eliminate air suction. This element can be applied, for example, when connecting complex configurations to a standard chimney pipe or tee.
