Chimney connector union piece (muff) +/- is used to connect a pipe to a chimney.
Single-wall systems made of 2 mm thick steel sheet are used for flue gas extraction from fireplaces and solid fuel heating appliances (non-condensing) where the flue gas temperature can reach up to 1000 °C.
The black pipes and fittings are characterised by very fast assembly and high durability. They are rolled on special equipment in the factory, with a smaller landing on one side and a larger landing on the other, which allows the stack to be assembled using the one-in-one method. The welds are laser welded, which ensures reliability, a beautiful aesthetic appearance and easy subsequent maintenance. The internal surface is smooth, which prevents the build-up of large amounts of soot on the chimney walls.
After finishing, a black heat-resistant Senotherm paint is applied to the products. This paint does not smoke when it first burns, does not give off an unpleasant odour and is used by most fireplace manufacturers for these properties.
The black pipes and fittings are installed indoors before entering the flue or flue shaft. If the flue is installed outdoors, it must be thermally insulated.
