Description and Purpose
A flue module (total pipe length is 250 mm) equipped with a rotatable damper and a special long handle. Manufactured from 2 mm thick DC01 black steel. This model (axis length 450 mm) is designed for concealed installation fireplace inserts, allowing the damper control to be brought outside through the fireplace cladding.
Technical Advantages and Safety
- Standards Compliance: The product complies with LVS EN 16510-1:2023 standards and the LBN 231-15 building code only when the restrictor screw is installed. This mechanism prevents the complete closure of the channel, leaving a gap for the evacuation of carbon monoxide into the chimney.
- Remote Control: The long axis (450 mm) allows regulating draft through brickwork, plasterboard, or other cladding, preserving the interior aesthetics.
- Heat-resistant Coating: Finished with heat-resistant Senotherm paint (matte black). The coating does not emit smoke or odors upon heating, protecting the steel from corrosion.

Mounting and Operation
The element is installed on the fireplace insert outlet using the socket method. The joints are sealed with a high-temperature stove sealant and fixed mechanically (with steel rivets or self-tapping screws). The handle rod is passed through a prepared hole in the fireplace cladding (it is important to ensure the free movement of the rod without misalignment).
To continue the flue channel after the damper, a straight 1000 mm flue pipe of the corresponding diameter is used.
Important Limitations
- Attention! If the restrictor screw is removed, compliance with safety standards is lost. Complete closure of the damper is only permitted in specific engineering systems under the full responsibility of the user.
- Application: Designed for use with wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, and solid fuel boilers. Do not use with pellet boilers.
