Description and Application Area

This product is a standalone functional unit — a rotatable damper plate with an axis and a long handle. The item is designed for self-installation (insertion) into black steel flue pipes. The feature of this model is the long control axis.

The long handle allows the damper control to be extended remotely. This is applied in concealed fireplace installations, when the regulation is brought out through the decorative cladding (plasterboard, brick) to the outside of the casing. For exposed pipe sections that do not require remote control, a mechanism with a short handle is used.

Technical Advantages and Safety

• Standards Compliance: The product complies with LVS EN 16510-1:2023 standards and the LBN 231-15 building code, provided the restrictor screw is installed. This safety element physically prevents the complete closure of the chimney, eliminating the risk of carbon monoxide entering the room.
• Operational Safety: The long handle allows regulating the draft while staying at a safe distance from the hot surface of the chimney.
• Thermal Resistance: The plate is manufactured from heat-resistant DC01 steel (2 mm) and coated with Senotherm paint (matte black), which ensures stable operation at temperatures up to 600°C. The coating polymerizes upon heating and protects the steel from corrosion.

• Attention! During installation, it is mandatory to maintain the restrictor function. If the restrictor screw is not installed, compliance with safety standards is lost. Complete closure of the channel is permitted only in specialized systems under the full responsibility of the user.
• Application: Designed for wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, and solid fuel boilers. Do not use with pellet equipment.
