Single Wall Black Steel Chimney Bend 45° with Cleanout, 2 mm Thick
Description and Purpose
A welded 45° chimney bend is manufactured from 2 mm thick DC01 black steel. The element is designed to smoothly change the chimney trajectory, which provides improved aerodynamics and stable draft compared to right-angle turns. The product is optimal for bypassing obstacles and creating inclined system sections.
This model is equipped with a built-in cleanout (inspection hatch). The presence of a door allows for regular inspection and cleaning of the flue channel without dismantling the entire structure, which significantly simplifies operation and increases fire safety.
Technical Advantages
- Smooth flow: The 45° angle minimizes flue gas resistance and reduces the intensity of soot accumulation at the turn.
- Maintenance convenience: The cleanout provides quick access to the inner part of the channel for service work in the bend area.
- Heat-resistant coating: Painted with heat-resistant Senotherm paint (matte black). The coating is resistant to high temperatures (up to 600°C), does not emit odor during operation, and protects the metal from corrosion.
- Reliability: The 2 mm thick-walled steel and high-quality welded seams guarantee resistance to burn-through and thermal deformations.

Mounting and Assembly
Elements are connected using the plug-and-socket method (smooth end and socket, 50 mm insertion depth). To ensure gas tightness, the joints should be treated with a heat-resistant stove sealant. For reliable fixation of diagonal chimney sections, mechanical fastening with steel rivets or screws is permissible.
To continue the chimney channel after the bend, a standard 1000 mm chimney pipe of the corresponding diameter is recommended.
Important Limitations
- Application: Designed for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, and solid fuel boilers. Not to be used with pellet boilers.
- Safety: After cleaning, it is important to ensure that the cleanout hatch cover is closed tightly and securely.
- Installation zone: Mounting is permitted only inside heated rooms.
