Black Steel Stove Pipe Elbow 90°
Description and Purpose
The 90° flue elbow (bend) is manufactured from 2 mm thick DC01 black steel. The element is designed to change the direction of the flue channel at a right angle. It is most commonly used for the horizontal connection of a stove or fireplace outlet to the vertical part of the chimney system (wall entry or ceramic shaft).
The welded construction ensures the rigidity and gas tightness of the element. Due to the 2 mm wall thickness, the elbow is capable of withstanding high thermal loads that occur at the turning points of flue gases, where the flow velocity drops and the temperature locally increases.
Technical Advantages
- Geometry: Allows for a compact connection of the heating appliance in limited spaces, directing the flue straight into the wall or to the side.
- Thermal Resistance: Complies with the T600 class (operating temperature up to 600°C). The thick steel is resistant to thermal shocks and burning through.
- Coating: Finished with heat-resistant Senotherm paint (matte black). It polymerizes upon heating, does not smoke during operation, and protects the surface from corrosion.
- Aesthetics: Neat seams ensure the visual integrity of the part, making the connections unobtrusive in the interior.

Mounting and Operation
Connection with other elements is performed using the socket method. To ensure complete gas tightness of the flue, joints should be sealed with a high-temperature stove sealant. Additional fixation of the connections with rivets or self-tapping screws is recommended to prevent separation under the weight of the structure.
To extend the horizontal or vertical section after the bend, use a straight 1000 mm flue pipe.
Important Limitations
- Application: Designed for use with wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, and solid fuel boilers. Do not use with pellet boilers.
- Installation Zone: Installation is permitted only indoors in heated premises.
