Flue Damper with Short Handle 20 mm, 250 mm Pipe
Description and Purpose
A flue module (total pipe length is 250 mm) equipped with a rotatable damper and a short handle (handle length 20 mm). Manufactured from 2 mm thick DC01 black steel. The main function of the element is draft regulation in the flue channel. By changing the position of the damper, the user can manually control the exhaust speed of flue gases, which reduces firewood consumption and extends the heat output time.
Technical Advantages and Safety
- Standards Compliance: The product complies with LVS EN 16510-1:2023 standards and the LBN 231-15 building code. The structure is equipped with a special restrictor screw that physically prevents the damper from closing completely, leaving the necessary gap for the safe evacuation of carbon monoxide.
- Heat-resistant Coating: Finished with heat-resistant Senotherm paint (matte black). The coating does not emit smoke upon heating, has no unpleasant odor, and protects the steel from corrosion.
- Reliability: The 2 mm wall thickness ensures resistance to high temperatures (T600 class) and prevents deformation of the damper mechanism in case of overheating.

Mounting and Operation
The element is connected to pipes using the socket method. It is recommended to seal the joints with a high-temperature stove sealant. For structural reliability, considering the presence of moving parts, the pipe connection should be mechanically fixed (with steel rivets or self-tapping screws).
After installing the damper, the chimney is usually extended upwards using a standard 1000 mm flue pipe of the corresponding diameter.
Important Limitations
- Attention! If the restrictor screw is removed, compliance with safety standards is lost. Complete closure of the damper is only permitted for specific systems and under the user's personal responsibility.
- Application: Designed for use with wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, and solid fuel boilers. Do not use with pellet boilers.
