Single Wall Black Steel Flue Elbow 45°, 2 mm Thick
Description and Purpose
A flue elbow with a fixed angle of 45°, also known as a flue bend, is manufactured from 2 mm thick DC01 black steel. The element is designed to smoothly change the trajectory of the flue channel. The application of a 45° angle instead of a right angle allows reducing aerodynamic drag, which favorably affects draft stability and decreases the intensity of soot deposition on the chimney walls.
The elbow is applied to bypass building structures (beams, ceilings) or for the diagonal connection of heating appliances to the main shaft. The welded structure made of segments provides high rigidity and durability to the unit.
Technical Advantages
- Improved aerodynamics: A smooth turn at a 45° angle ensures unhindered exhaust of combustion products, which is particularly important for appliances with sensitive draft.
- Heat resistance: The 2 mm steel and TIG welding guarantee resistance to high temperatures (class T600) and deformations. The element is certified according to the EN 1856-2 standard.
- Coating: Painted with heat-resistant Senotherm paint (matte black). The coating polymerizes at room temperature, does not emit odor during the first firing, and reliably protects the surface from corrosion.
- Aesthetics: The matte black color of the product harmonizes with the design of most modern wood stoves and fireplaces.

Mounting and Assembly
Elements are connected using the plug-and-socket method (50 mm insertion). To ensure gas tightness, the joints should be treated with a heat-resistant stove sealant. For rigid fixation of diagonal chimney sections, mechanical fastening with steel rivets or screws is recommended.
As a straight section to continue the channel, a 1000 mm chimney pipe of the corresponding diameter is available in the assortment.
Important Limitations
- Application: Designed for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, and solid fuel boilers. Not to be used with pellet boilers.
- Installation zone: Mounting is permitted exclusively inside heated rooms (no insulation).
