Insulated revision (cleaning tee with cover, insulated cleaning tee) is a section of inspection flue used to assess the condition of the flue and to remove soot from the flue. A condensate outlet (with outlet to the side or downwards) is usually added at the base of the revision. Most often, the next stage (upwards) after the revision fitting is followed by a connection tee. The cleaning hatch is structurally a modification of the tee with a special cover (the cover can be insulated).

As an alternative to an insulated flue tee with a round hatch, the condensate outlet can be used as a cleaning tee which is removable from below.

The insulated flue system is safe and convenient to use, and is certified, CE-marked and complies with the requirements of the current EU standard LVS EN-1856-1.
