Rigid Chimney Braces 1500 mm IZOKOMPAKT
Description and Purpose
Rigid braces (also called V-shaped brackets) are a kit for securely fixing the part of the chimney protruding above the roof.
Unlike flexible cables, rigid profile pipes create a strong structural triangle that holds the chimney motionless even during strong gusts of wind. This prevents joints from loosening and compromising the tightness of the roof flashing.
When is rigid bracing necessary?
According to safety standards, the installation of rigid braces is mandatory if the height of the chimney pipe above the roof level exceeds 1.5 meters.
Kit Contents and Features
- Kit Composition:
- Mounting clamp (placed on the pipe, has lugs for fastening).
- Two support profiles ("legs") with a length of 1500 mm.
- Fasteners for connecting the legs to the clamp.
- Corrosion Protection: Elements are made of steel, galvanized, or powder-coated (optional), ensuring excellent resistance to atmospheric precipitation.
- Adjustment: The length of the legs (1.5 m) can be reduced during installation by cutting off the excess to perfectly adjust the angle to your roof.

Installation Recommendations
- Roof Fastening: The lower points of the supports must be attached not to the roofing material (sheet metal/tile), but to the load-bearing structures of the roof (rafters, battens).
- Waterproofing: The points where supports are attached to the roof require careful sealing with roofing sealant.
