Chimney Fixing Clamp (Mounting / Guy Wire)
Description and Purpose
The Fixing Clamp is a specialized structural element installed on the outer casing of the chimney. Its task is to create a reliable anchor point on the smooth pipe surface for fixation without compromising the chimney's integrity.
Construction:
For diameters from 200 mm, the product consists of two semi-circles made of strong stainless steel (30x1.5 mm strip), which are bolted together on both sides. The connection points form protruding "mounting lugs" (ears) with holes for fasteners.
Main Usage Scenarios
- Ceiling Suspension: The primary use is fixing horizontal sections of the chimney. Threaded rods (studding) are inserted into the holes of the fixing clamp and attached to the ceiling, securely holding the weight of the pipe.
- Guy Wire Installation: If the chimney rises high above the roof (more than 1.5 - 2 meters), steel cables (guy wires) are attached to this clamp to protect the structure from wind loads.
- Custom Mounting: Used as a base for creating individual fastening solutions when standard wall brackets do not fit in length or shape.
Technical Specifications
The clamp is selected strictly by the outer diameter of the pipe.

Important Distinctions
- NOT for joining pipes: This Fixing Clamp cannot be used to connect two pipes together (it is not airtight and has a different shape). For joints, use Locking Bands.
- Safety: When using the clamp for suspension, the installer is obliged to calculate the load and select appropriate threaded rods and anchors for the ceiling.
