Insulated Chimney Cowl (Integrated Cap)
Description and Purpose
The insulated chimney cowl is the finishing element of the Izokompakt modular system, installed at the very top of the stack. Structurally, it is a "sandwich" element with an already integrated protective rain cap.
Its main function is to hermetically seal the upper edge of the insulated pipe, preventing the rock wool from getting wet, while simultaneously protecting the inner flue channel from rain, snow, leaves, and birds.
Model Advantages
- Ready-made solution (2-in-1): Unlike assembled structures, there is no need to buy a cone and a cap separately. This is a single solid part, completely ready for installation.
- Insulation protection: The design reliably closes the end of the sandwich pipe. This is critically important, as dry insulation is the key to a long service life of the chimney and the absence of corrosion.
- Unobstructed smoke exit: The side openings between the base and the cap are calculated to avoid creating resistance to the draft while effectively cutting off driving rain.
- Aesthetics: The cowl gives the chimney a finished and neat look. You can choose a version to match your roof color (RAL catalog) or classic stainless steel.

The element is selected strictly according to the inner and outer diameters of your chimney system.

Important Installation Recommendations
- Fixation: Since this is the topmost element exposed to wind loads, the joint with the lower pipe must be secured with a locking band (clamp).
- Maintenance: This type of cowl is non-dismountable. If you require frequent access to the channel from above (for example, for mechanical cleaning with a brush without removing the cowl), consider an alternative option: installing a Top Cone + removable Rain Cap.
