Chimney Rain Cap
Description and Purpose
The Chimney Rain Cap (also called a cowl or visor) is the finishing element of the chimney system, installed at the very top of the pipe. Its main task is to protect the flue channel from atmospheric precipitation, debris, and birds.
The product is made of high-quality stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and exposure to flue gases.
Key Advantages
- Moisture protection: The wide dome reliably covers the pipe mouth, preventing rain and snow from entering the chimney, which protects the boiler and internal walls from moisture destruction.
- Stable draft: The height of the supports and the diameter of the cap are engineered so as not to create resistance to the escaping smoke.
- Versatility: The connection design (Male / Spigot) allows the cap to be inserted both inside a standard pipe and into the cone-finish of an insulated chimney.

Important Recommendations
- Installation: The cap is inserted inside the pipe or cone. For secure fixation against wind, it is recommended to additionally fasten the connection with stainless steel screws or rivets.
- Spark arresting: The standard cap does not stop sparks. If you have a sauna, a house with a soft roof (bitumen), or trees nearby, we strongly recommend using a cap with spark arrestor (mesh).
