Description and Purpose
The Bottom Adapter "-" (Male) is the starting element of the IZOKOMPAKT double-wall chimney system. It is designed to transition from a standard single-wall pipe to the double-wall insulated structure using the modern "condensate-led" principle.
This element allows you to start the insulated section of the chimney at any necessary point — for example, immediately at the boiler outlet or before passing through a ceiling.
Function and principle of operation:
The key feature of this adapter is the presence of a narrowed bottom spigot. The connection type is "Male". This means that the adapter is inserted inside the single-wall pipe coming from below.
This assembly scheme ensures that condensate flowing down the inner walls of the chimney passes the joint without obstruction and flows into the condensate collector, without leaking out through the connection.

- Leak protection: Assembly "by condensate" is the standard for most modern boilers (gas, pellet) where a lot of moisture is generated.
- Reliable insulation protection: A hermetic ring closes the insulation end from below. Immediately after the adapter, flue gases enter the warm insulated channel, which contributes to stable draft.
- Versatility: Can be installed directly on the output spigot of the heating appliance or on a single-wall pipe (vertical run).

Installation Tips
- Sealing: For complete reliability of the joint, use high-temperature sealant.
- Fixation: The joint of the upper part of the adapter with the first sandwich pipe must be secured with a locking band (clamp).
- Alternative: For some wood stoves where assembly "with the draft" is required (pipe fits over the outside), use the Adapter "+" (Female).
